Nacharam DPS student Prem Krithika receives ‘Best NCC Cadet’ medal from PM
Krithika represented Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the Republic Day camp in 2020 and 2023.

The class 12 student received the Prime Minister’s Baton from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being the best cadet in the senior wing Army on 28 January in New Delhi.
Delhi Public School pro-vice-chairman M. Komariah and COO Yasasvi Malka felicitated Prem Krithika and her parents at an event where the chief guests were K. Murali Mohan, senior civil judge and secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, city civil court, and P.L. Srinivas, founder and chairman of Akshara Vaagdevi International School.
Mr. Komariah presented a cash award of Rs. 50,000 to Krithika and promised to support her in her future endeavors, including education.
Krithika represented Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the Republic Day camp in 2020 and 2023. “It was truly a prestigious moment for me to receive the baton and medal from the Prime Minister. Moreover, getting a chance to witness the inauguration of the new 75 rupee coin added to my joy,” said Krithika.
“We got an opportunity to interact with senior officers from the Army, Air Force, and Navy along with Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh. I also got an opportunity to brief the VIPs about our state’s culture and have dinner with Rajnath Singh,” said Krithika who wants to become an IAS officer.
