Hyderabad: The flyover at Nagole is nearing completion. Once opened to the public, it will ensure smooth travel from LB Nagar to Uppal and from there towards Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Warangal. It will also make it easier for people to travel towards Secunderabad, ECIL.
The two-way flyover is 24 meters wide and has six lanes. The utility shifting expenditure was Rs. 143.58 crores and to construct the 990-meter flyover, corridor civil work was Rs. 69 crores.
To provide the citizens a signal-free transport system, the GHMC is prioritising the required infrastructure. Through SRDP, the GHMC has undertaken various infrastructure works like constructing flyovers, ROBs, underpass roads, slip roads, etc. These works are being completed in a phased manner and most of them have been opened for public use.
The GHMC has undertaken 47 works through various departments; of them, 31 have been completed so far.
