Nagole flyover will open to public on 26 Oct; Kothaguda & Shilpa layout flyover nearing completion
By Newsmeter Network Published on 25 Oct 2022 10:45 AM GMTHyderabad: The Nagole flyover will be inaugurated on 26 October (Wednesday).The flyover is 990 meters long and has six lanes, bi-direction. It was built at a cost of Rs. 143.58 crores, including utility shifting, land acquisition etc. Once it is brought in use it will be easy for the traffic to travel from L.B.Nagar to Uppal from there towards Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Warangal, similarly easy to travel towards Secunderabad, ECIL.
Also, the new flyover will make commute from Uppal to LB Nagar easier. It will also reduce pollution and traffic. Further, it will benefit people travelling to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to Aramghar to LB Nagar to Uppal. This is the 16th flyover completed under SRDP.
Two more flyovers to be inaugurated soon
To ease traffic two flyovers are being constructedāKothaguda flyover and the Shilpa layout which are nearing completion. Efforts are being made to complete the two flyovers as early as possible and open them to the public in the first week of December. With the completion of these two flyovers, a total of 18 flyovers will be completed under SRDP.
In order to facilitate to the citizens with signal free transport system GHMC is prioritising required infrastructure, through SRDP GHMC undertaken various infrastructure developmental works like construction of fly overs, / ROBs, underpass roads, slip roads etc. these works are being completed in a phased manner most of them are opened for public.
