NEET-UG results were announced nationwide on June 5.
The organisation highlighted several key issues such as alarmingly low qualification scores and an unprecedented spike in perfect scores, raising suspicions of irregularities. They also pointed out a suspicious concentration of top scorers at a single centre in Haryana.
In addition, reports of impossible scores and the unexplained awarding of grace marks have further cast doubts on the fairness of the examination process.
“These irregularities have caused significant stress among students, eroding their confidence in the system,” the statement by the SIO read.
The SIO has called for an immediate, thorough investigation and an independent audit to address these concerns. They are demanding complete transparency to restore trust and integrity in the NEET (UG) 2024 exam.
