Hyderabad:  For the first time in the country, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad has bagged ISO  9001:2015 Quality Management Standards Certification from Accreditation Service  for Certifying Bodies, the United Kingdom for its standard working procedures has  acquired
    According  to zoo authority, an audit conducted by the team expressed their satisfaction in  the way the Zoo has been taking care of the animals in fields of sanitization,  food processing, animal breeding, zoo hospital, animal care, hygiene  maintenance and establishment. The working of the various wings is also  observed by the team and they appreciated the efficiency, teamwork and the commitment of all the staff which has raised the standards of Nehru Zoological  Park, Hyderabad.
 The zoo authorities said that the transparency at all works, response to any emergency  round the clock, and the standards being followed which fulfil the criteria  for ISO certifications have inspired the team in conveying all the information  and standards along with a strong recommendation for ISO certification of Zoo  park.
    The  certificate was presented by Sivaiah Alapati, Managing Director, lifetime Membership QCI to the Minister for Forests A. Indra Karan Reddy.
The  Forest Minister also announced the birth of Four white Tiger cubs born on October  6, the Zoo day and a Gaur (Indian Bison) (Shiva) born on November 5.
