Hyderabad: Art has always served as a powerful medium for expressing emotions, and now, Hyderabad introduces a groundbreaking way to take expression to new heights with the Neon Wonderland in Bandlaguda, Nagole – the city’s first-ever neon splatter room.

This 1,200 sq ft wide sanctuary, perfect for throwing paint around, encourages guests to let loose and unleash their creativity in an environment where every splatter tells a story.

“Neon Wonderland can accommodate about 25 people per session, offering boundless opportunities for creative expression. We believe in unlocking the artist within everyone, regardless of age or background,” said Harshini Krishna, the founder of Neon Wonderland.

Turning art into therapy

The concept is simple yet transformative – patrons don protective suits, grab a vibrant colour palette, and set their inner artist free within the neon splatter room. Each splatter becomes a representation of emotions and energy, turning art into therapy.

“As an architect and art enthusiast, I envisioned a space that transcended conventional boundaries, providing a platform for unconventional expression,” Harshini explained.

“Neon is an opportunity for every person to explore themselves in a non-conventional way in the form of art and madness leading to the most suitable environment for creating wonders,” she added.

Safety comes first

Neon Wonderland’s appeal extended beyond age and artistic skill, drawing in a diverse array of visitors seeking an escape from the mundane. Families bonding over shared creativity and individuals finding solace in self-expression all find a place in this neon-lit haven.

Offering a one-hour slot at Rs 699 per person, Neon Wonderland provides protective gear, body suits, socks, artboards, colours, and the freedom to create without inhibitions. Harshini emphasised, “We believe in more mess, more fun.”

Regarding safety, she assured, “We use blue LEDs that do not emit UV, ensuring a safe environment. Our colours are certified as completely non-toxic, skin-friendly, and free from any heavy metals.”

Whether for a therapeutic escape or an immersive artistic experience, Neon Wonderland boasts a variety of arts, including a spin wheel, rainbow slide, pendulum art, block painting, doodling walls, and more. In this neon-lit haven, creativity knows no bounds, and each splatter is an invitation to explore the unconventional and celebrate the joy of messy, unfiltered expression.
