Nigerian national arrested with cocaine
A Nigerian national was arrested here at GVK Mall, Panjagutta, on Saturday with four grams of cocaine.

The sleuths of the commissioner's task force, south zone team, and the Panjagutta police apprehended 33-year-old student Daniel Ayotunde Olamide who is from Ijebu City in Nigeria's Lagos. He was living in Tolichowki here. Another accused, John Paul (37), also from Nigeria and living in Delhi, is absconding.
Daniel was supplying drugs to customers in the Hyderabad and Cyberabad police limits. A Honda Activa was also seized from him along with the contraband.
According to the police, Daniel came to Hyderabad in 2014 on a student Visa and was studying at Vivekananda Degree College, Kukatpally. In the meantime, he met John Paul who is a drug peddler. The two started selling drugs in Hyderabad.
Earlier, Daniel had been arrested by the Langarhouse police in a drugs case. Once released from jail, he continued supplying drugs with the help of John Paul. Daniel used to charge Rs. 8,000-10,000 for one gram of cocaine.
On 2 October, the south zone task force team and the Panjagutta police apprehended Daniel while he was trying to sell cocaine to customers. The arrested person, along with the seized property, was handed over to the SHO of Panjagutta police station for further investigation.
