Authorities advise residents to store water

With the power outage affecting pumping stations, the water supply in these areas will be disrupted during the shutdown period. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has urged residents to take precautions.

Restoration timeline

Water supply is expected to normalise once power is restored after 4 pm. However, full restoration may take additional time depending on pressure levels in the pipelines. TGTRANSCO officials assured that the replacement work at the Nasarlapally substation is necessary to ensure long-term stability in the power.
