Notorious ganja peddler Neetu Bai held in Nanakramguda

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Special Operation Team (SOT) arrested Neetu Bai, a ganja dealer from Nanakramguda in Hyderabad. The SOT teams, who conducted raids on Thursday, seized a massive load of 20 kg of marijuana and Rs 20 lakhs cash.
According to the police, Neetu Bai is known for catering to software engineers and locals, while earning at least Rs 20 lakh per day selling the contraband. Neetu was previously apprehended for ganja smuggling.
A case under the NDPS Act (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985) has been registered. Investigations under the NDPS Act are underway, shedding light on the extent of her involvement and the network behind her operations.
During the investigation, the police also found that Neetu Bai’s family had been engaged in the illicit trade for quite some time. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
