Paradise, Parade Grounds, JBS Metro stations to remain closed on Sunday evening
Corridor 2 (JBS-MGBS) trains will run between Secunderabad West and MGBS during this time. Metro authorities requested passengers to note the changes and make alternate arrangements accordingly.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 3 July 2022 8:19 AM GMTHyderabad: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public meeting to be held at the Parade Grounds on 3 July, the Paradise, Parade Grounds, and JBS Metro stations will be closed between 5.30 p.m and 8 p.m on Sunday for security reasons.
The trains will not stop at these stations during this time, the Hyderabad Metro Rail announced.
Corridor 2 (JBS-MGBS) trains will run between Secunderabad West and MGBS during this time. Metro authorities requested passengers to note the changes and make alternate arrangements accordingly. There is no change in train movement and station stoppages in Corridor 1 (Miyapur-LB Nagar), they further said.
Meanwhile Hyderabad police have made special traffic arrangements in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit and the BJP public meeting at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, on 3 July.
Under section 21(1) (b) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, the city police commissioner, C.V Anand, notified the traffic regulations for 3 July from 2 p.m to 10 p.m. The following traffic diversions and parking arrangements will be enforced:
Ā· The general public is requested to avoid roads from HICC Madhapur ā Jubilee Hills check-post ā KBR Park ā Punjagutta ā Greenlands ā Begumpet ā Parade Ground and the surrounding roads of Parade Ground. Also, the road between Tivoli crossroads and Plaza crossroads will be closed. Traffic congestion is expected at the following junctions: Chilakalguda crossroads, Alugaddabai crossroads, Sangeeth crossroads, YMCA crossroads, Patny crossroads, SBH crossroads, Plaza, CTO Junction, Brookbond junction, Tivoli junction, Sweekar Upakar junction, Secunderabad Club, Trimulgherry crossroads, Tank Bund crossroads and Centre Point, Diamond Point, Bowenpally crossroads, Rasoolpura, Begumpet Paradise. The public is requested to avoid MG Road, RP Road, and SD Road between 2 p.m and 10 p.m.
Ā· The general public is requested to avoid all junctions/roads within a 3 km radius from Parade Ground, Secunderabad, on 3 July from 2 p.m to 10 p.m.
Ā· Passengers intending to travel by evening trains from Secunderabad railway station are requested to start early to reach the station on time. There would be traffic congestion while approaching the station from platform no. 1 side. Hence, the public is requested to use the entry from platform no. 10 of Secunderabad station from the Chilkalguda side.

1. Towards/from Secunderabad railway station (for railway passengers)
Ā· From Punjagutta to Secunderabad railway station take the route from Panjagutta ā Khairtabad junction ā IMAX Rotary ā Telugu thalli flyover ā Lower Tank Bund ā RTC crossroad ā Musheerabad crossroad ā Gandhi Hospital ā Chilakalguda crossroad ā Platform no.10 entry to Secunderabad station and vice-versa.
Ā· Secunderabad railway station ā Old Gandhi crossroads ā Monda Market ā Ghasmandi ā Bible House ā Karbala Maidan ā Tank Bund and vice-versa.
Ā· Secunderabad railway station ā Clock Tower ā Patny ā Bible House ā Karbala Maidan ā Tank Bund and vice-versa.
Ā· Uppal ā Tarnaka ā Alugaddabavi ā Chilkalguda crossroad ā Secunderabad railway station and vice-versa.
Ā· Do not use roads from Secunderabad railway station to Patny ā Paradise junction ā Begumpet ā Punjagutta as they will be congested.
2. To and from Karimnagar highway (Rajiv Rahadhari)
Use Outer Ring Road (ORR) to enter at ORR Shameerpet ORR Gate (7) and exit at:
Ā· Medchal ORR Gate (6) ā Kompally ā Suchitra ā Balanagar ā Moosapetā Erragadda ā SR Nagar ā Ameerpet, if you wish to travel towards City Centre (Ameerpet).
Ā· Keesara ORR Gate (8) ā Kushaiguda ā ECIL ā Moula Ali ā Nacharam ā Uppal, if you wish to travel towards Uppal.
Ā· People coming from Karimnagar can take Tirumalagiri crossroad ā left turn at AS Rao Nagar ā ECIL ā Moula Ali ā Tarnaka to enter the city.
Ā· To go to Karimnagar or return from Karimnagar avoid Tirumulgiri crossroad ā JBS route. Instead, use ORR from Gachibowli/Patancheruvu/Medchal/Keesara/Ghatkesar to reach your destination.
3. To and from Uppal towards Punjagutta
Ā· Use road from Uppal ā Ramanthapur ā Amberpet ā Himayathnagar ā Khairtabad junction ā Punjagutta.
Ā· Don't use the road between Uppal ā Tarnaka ā Rail Nilayam, as it will be heavily congested.
4. Traffic coming from Tarnaka/Mettuguda towards Panjagutta/Ameerpet side will be diverted at Sangeet crossroads towards Chilkalguda ā Musheerabad ā Kavadiguda - Lower Tank Bund ā Iqbal Minar ā Lakdikapul towards Panjagutta/Ameerpet.
5. Traffic coming from Panjagutta/Ameerpet side towards Tarnaka/Uppal will be diverted at Panjagutta towards Khairtabad ā Nirankari āOld PS Saifabad āIqbal Minar ā Telugu talli flyover ā Lower Tank Bund ā Kavadiguda ā Musheerabad ā Chilkalguda Rotary ā Mettuguda towards Tarnaka/Uppal.
6. Traffic coming from Medchal/Balanagar towards Secunderabad will be diverted at Bowenpally crossroads towards Dairy Farm road ā Holy Family Church ā Trimulgherry ā RK Puram ā Neredmet ā Malkajgiri ā Mettuguda towards Secunderabad.
7. Traffic coming from Karkhana/Trimulgherry towards SBH-Patny will be diverted at Trimulgherry crossroads towards RK Puram ā Neredmet ā Malkajgiri ā Mettuguda towards Secunderabad.
