Patancheru MLA’s eldest son Vishnuvardhan Reddy passes away
The death of their son has placed a pall over Mahipal Reddy’s family. Numerous BRS leaders and activists have expressed their sympathies and support during the family's trying times.

Hyderabad: On Thursday morning, Gudem Vishnuvardhan Reddy, eldest son of Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy, died from a heart attack. The 34-year-old was reportedly undergoing kidney treatment at the Continental Hospital and was on ventilator support.
Vishnuvardhan is an active member of BRS from his student days.
According to the family, he died from a heart attack around 2 am. Vishnuvardhan had reportedly developed jaundice while undergoing treatment, which required dialysis. He was put on ventilator support afterwards. His body was taken to the Pathancheru residence of Mahipal Reddy and his funeral is expected to take place soon. Vishnuvardhan is survived by his wife Kiranmayi and two daughters.

Ministers Harish Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, and MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy paid their respects to Vishnuvardhan Reddy. The deceased was active in his father’s political activities in the constituency and campaigned for his father during elections.
