Plot owners in Koheda village complain of harassment, HYDRAA conducts inspection
Hyderabad: HYDRAA commissioner AV Ranganath conducted a field visit on Wednesday to inspect the Rajaji Nagar layout in Koheda village of Abdullapurmet Mandal, Ranga Reddy district, following complaints of illegal encroachments and constructions.
The layout spans approximately 17 acres and includes up to 190 plots. Plot owners had earlier submitted a grievance through Prajavani, alleging that Sammireddy Bal Reddy had encroached upon the layoutās parks and roads using forged documents.

Plot owners assaulted
In response, HYDRAA authorities demolished the illegal structures built across roads. Plot owners expressed relief following the removal of these encroachments.
However, when Sammireddy began construction activities again, the plot owners attempted to resist, leading to alleged assaults by Sammireddyās group, according to the complaints. Commissioner Ranganath visited the site to assess the situation firsthand.

He assured the residents that the roads and parks marked in the Rajaji Nagar layout would be protected from encroachments and promised strict criminal action against those responsible for illegal occupations. His assurance brought a sense of relief among the plot owners.
Later, the commissioner also visited the Kotha Cheruvu in Koheda village. He conducted an on-site inspection regarding complaints that certain private lands had submerged into the lake.
