Hyderabad: In view of the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Hyderabad on 26 May, Hyderabad Traffic Police informed that moderate traffic congestion is expected on the roads leading to and in the surroundings of Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad.

Hyderabad Traffic Police advised the citizens to avoid the road stretch of Green lands-Prakash Nagar T Junction, Rasoolpura T Junction, and CTO Junction between 11 am and 4 pm on Thursday.



In the parking area, only the vehicles of officials and those part of the welcome lineup will be permitted, said traffic police. Public and others attending the Hon'ble PM's meeting at the airport are advised to park their vehicles in the Airline colony parking area.

PM Modi is coming to Hyderabad to attend the 20th annual day celebration of the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Nanakramguda and for the graduation ceremony of the postgraduate programme class of 2022. He is expected to arrive at Begumpet Airport around 1:30 pm from where he would fly to the helipad at the University of Hyderabad and thereafter proceed to ISB by road. After the event in Hyderabad, he will head to Chennai where he is expected to launch several developmental projects.
