Popeyes, US fried chicken fast-food chain, opens outlet in Ameerpet’s Satyam Mall

Hyderabad: Popeyes, a well-known American international chain of fast-food fried chicken restaurants, has established its first location in Hyderabad. The restaurant, at Satyam Mall in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, will provide a broad variety of fried chicken products.

“We are thrilled to bring Popeyes to the vibrant heart of Hyderabad, the brand’s fifth city in South India. At the first store in Asian Satyam Mall, Hyderabad residents can now enjoy the bold Cajun flavours of fried chicken, burger (sandwich) in a brioche bun, and French fries.

Seeing the lineups outside the restaurant, we are overwhelmed by the reaction, which motivates us to open 30-35 shops this year,” said Sameer Khetarpal, CEO and MD of Jubilant FoodWorks Limited.

Popeyes in Hyderabad is not the country’s first location. Prior to that, the fast-food restaurant had built a presence in four major Indian cities. The fast-food restaurant has outlets in Bengaluru, Chennai, Manipal and Coimbatore.
