Posters up once again in Hyderabad ahead of PM Modi's TS visit
This is not the first time that the TRS is putting up posters prior to the Prime Minister’s visit.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 10 Nov 2022 11:56 AM GMTHyderabad: Posters started reappearing in different parts of Hyderabad on Thursday, two days ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Telangana on 12 November.
One of the posters reads, "Modi, No entry to Telangana. Roll back 5% GST on handloom products." Below the poster is written Telangana Chenetha Youth Force. Similar posters were found in Jubilee Hills, Hitec City, HICC, etc.
This is not the first time that the TRS is putting up posters prior to the Prime Minister's visit. Previously, when PM Modi was in the city for the BJP National Executive Meeting in July, the TRS had put up similar posters.
Prior to the BJP National Executive Meeting, several people dressed in red jumpsuits and wearing a Dali mask—the costume made popular by the Netflix Spanish crime drama 'Money Heist'—were also spotted outside banks, petrol pumps, and railway stations in Hyderabad on the morning of 2 July.
The people in the red jumpsuits were reportedly Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party workers who took to Hyderabad streets holding placards with one common message: "We only rob banks. You rob the whole nation. #ByeByeModi."
During this time, a massive hoarding accusing Mr. Modi of robbing the nation was also put up in LB Nagar. The hoarding featured a 'Money Heist' poster and read, "Mr. N. Modi, we only rob banks, you rob the whole nation."
