Praja Paalana: 1.25 Cr applications received, Hyderabad tops list: CM Revanth to review cases

To ensure efficient administration, senior IAS officers were appointed as special supervisors for the ten joint districts and five GHMC zones. The concerned Collectors have been tasked to complete data entry for all applications by January 17.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to conduct a high-level review meeting at Dr. BR Ambedkar's secretariat on Monday.

The meeting aims to address the public issues identified during Praja Palana Gram Sabhas. Additionally, it will outline the subsequent steps to be taken. The meeting is expected to witness the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers, State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, as well as other high-ranking officials. Notably, the Chief Minister will also unveil the specially designed website, prajapalana.telangaana.gov.in for the public during this meeting.

The event saw an overwhelming response with a total of 1,25,84,383 applications received in ten days of public administration. Among these applications, 1,05,91,636 were directed towards five schemes, while 19,92,747 were intended for other services. The administration conducted Praja Palana Gram Sabhas across 16,392 gram panchayats and 710 municipal wards, witnessing the participation of 1,11,46,293 individuals. Moreover, 3,714 authority groups were involved, operating 44,568 counters to process applications.
