Presidential candidate Yaswanth Sinhas rally: Here are routes to take to avoid traffic on July 2

Hyderabad: Opposition Presidential candidate Yaswanth Sinha is visiting the city on 2 July and a rally is being organised from Begumpet airport to Jalavihar.

In view of this, traffic will be stopped or diverted at the following places on a need basis from 11 a.m to 2 p.m:

· Traffic coming from Green Lands towards Raj Bhavan Road will be diverted at MonappaIsland/Rajiv Gandhi statue towards Panjagutta.

· Traffic coming from Khairatabad towards Necklace Rotary will not be allowed towards the Necklace Rotary and will be diverted at the Khairatabad junction towards Shadan College.

· Traffic coming from Minister Road towards Sanjeevaiah Park will not be allowed and will be diverted towards Budda Bhavan, Tank Bund at Nallagutta bridge.

· Traffic coming from Tank Bund towards Sanjeevaiah Park will not be allowed and will be diverted towards Karbala Maidan at Sona Bai Mosque.

· Traffic coming from Mint Compound towards Necklace Rotary will not be allowed towards Rotary and will be diverted towards Khairatabad Bada Ganesh at Traffic PS Saifabad.

The public has been advised to take alternative routes and avoid the following routes where traffic congestion is expected:

· Begumpet airport towards Panjagutta crossroads.

· Somajiguda towards Khairatabad junction (Raj Bhavan Road).

· Khairatabad junction towards Necklace Road Rotary.

· Necklace Road Rotary towards Jalavihar.

· Telugu Talli towards Necklace Rotary.

Also, several political leaders are expected to travel from Begumpet airport to HICC Novotel Madhapur between 10 a.m and 6 p.m through Panjagutta, KBR Park, Jubilee Hills check-post, Road No. 36, and Madhapur which may lead to traffic congestion. The public is requested to avoid these routes during the specified timings.
