Hyderabad: Global star Priyanka Chopra visited the famous Hyderabad Chilkur Balaji Temple on Tuesday evening (January 21) and offered prayers. She paid her respects to the deity and was provided with the prasadam. The actor and her team spent a devotional evening at the temple. She called it the beginning of a new chapter in an Instagram post.

Chief priest CS Rangarajan, speaking to NewsMeter, said, “I briefed Priyanka Chopra about the greatness of Lord Venkateshwara and the significance of the temple. She spent time learning the history of the temple while praying to the deity. She offered sesha vastram. Her team too took part in the prayers. She was offered fruits and prasadam.”

Priyanka Chopra’s trip is about her role in the next Rajamouli film?

The actor took to her Instagram and shared: “With the blessings of Shri Balaji a new chapter begins. May we all find peace in our hearts and prosperity and abundance all around us. God’s grace is infinite.”

Since she mentioned that her temple visit is the beginning of a ‘new chapter’, it has raised speculation about her work. While the actor didn’t prominently mention what she meant by ‘new chapter’, many wondered if this was her way of officially confirming her film with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu.

Rumours are that Priyanka has landed in the city for the announcement of her next Indian film with ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli, and that he is planning to cast her in his next project opposite Telugu superstar, Mahesh Babu.
