Provide 2BHK houses to poor displaced by Musi project: CM Revanth to officials

He also directed the officials to collect the details of encroached lakes and ponds in Hyderabad.
CM Revanth Reddy was chairing a review meeting with the top officials on Musi Riverfront Development and Hyderabad Metro Rail.
He asked the officials to collect the details of poor people living in the Musi catchment area. CM Revanth asked the officials to allot double-bedroom houses or other alternatives for displaced poor people.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to take responsibility for conserving water bodies inside the Outer Ring Road.
The CM asserted that protecting water bodies is the need of the hour to prevent natural calamities. CM Revanth Reddy ordered the officials to take strict measures to protect the lakes and ponds from the encroachments. For this, CCTVs will be installed at all ponds in the city and connected to the Command Control Center in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister asked the officials to identify the ponds, lakes, and other water bodies inside the outer ring road demarcate the FTL and buffer zones, and submit a detailed report. The government will take every step to protect the interests of the poor.
The Chief Minister ordered the officials to prepare a detailed report on the Metro Rail connectivity from the airport to the Future City. The officials were instructed to take up the expansion work of Old City Metro at a fast pace. The CM said that special attention should be paid to hurdles in the land acquisition for the metro line project and solve them.
The officials briefed the CM on metro expansion from LB Nagar to Hayat Nagar, and MGBS to Chandrayangutta. The CM said a complete DPR regarding the Metro expansion route should be prepared and submitted to the Center before this Dussehra festival.
