Rachakonda Police issues prohibitory orders from June 24 to June 30
People who are found violating the above prohibitory orders shall be liable for prosecution.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 26 Jun 2023 3:10 PM GMTHyderabad: To maintain public order, peace and tranquillity in the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate area, prohibitory orders are to come into effect from June 24, 6 am to June 30, 6 am.
As per the orders, the following actions are prohibited.
- Holding any kind of public meetings and processions within the limits of the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate area without prior permission.
- Carrying arms such as swords, spears, knives, sticks with or without flags, bludgeons, guns, explosives and other offensive weapons.
- Gathering of persons on public roads or public places disturbing the peace and order or causing inconvenience, annoyance or danger to the public.
- Collection or carrying of stones or other means of casting missiles.
- Playing music, singing or speeches or broadcasting through loudspeakers and DJs without prior permission.
- Use of mikes/public address system, use of horn through vehicles by any organisation, member of public etc., without prior permission.
The orders were issued by the commissioner of police, Rachakonda Commissionerate DS Chauhan under Section 22(1)(a) to (f) and 22(2)(a) and (b) and 22(3) of Hyderabad City Police Act 1348 Fasli (Act No. IX) R/w Act 7 of Cyberabad (Metropolitan Area) Police Act.
People who are found violating the above prohibitory orders shall be liable for prosecution. Police officers on duty, military personnel on duty, home guards on duty, and bonafide funeral processions are exempted from the orders.
