Rajendranagar police station in Hyderabad ranked best in country for 2023

Hyderabad: The Rajendranagar police station in Hyderabad has been ranked as the best police station in the country for 2023 by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Rajendranagar police station was among 17,000 entries received by the MHA from across the country for the award.

To decide the winner of the award, the Union Home Ministry takes into account various parameters such as crime detection rate, investigation quality, community engagement, infrastructure maintenance, and adherence to human rights guidelines.

The selection process involved rigorous evaluation through the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS). As many as 75 police stations were shortlisted out of 17,000 entries.

Recently, Union home minister Amit Shah presented the best police station award to Rajendranagar, which was received by SHO B Nagendra Babu at the DGs conference in Jaipur.

Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Avinash Mohanty, IPS, congratulated the police officers of Rajendranagar police station including B Nagendra Babu, ADCP Sadhana Rashmi Perumal, IPS, ACP Gangadhar, Admin SI Ramesh for bagging the ‘Best Police Station’ award. “This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire team at Rajendranagar Police Station,” said CP Cyberabad. “Their commitment to serving the community and upholding the law is an inspiration to all,” the CP said.
