Rasoolpura–Ramgopalpet road to close down for 3 months; note these traffic diversions

Rasoolpura–Ramgopalpet road to close down for 3 months; note these traffic diversions

Hyderabad: The road between Rasoolpura and Ramgopalpet PS on Minister Road, Begumpet will be renovated and closed to the public for three months in accordance with the Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP). The route will be closed from 23 November 2022 to 21 February 2023.

As a result, the Hyderabad city police have issued the following diversions and limitations:

1. Traffic coming from Begumpet flyover will not be allowed to take a right turn at Rasoolpura T-junction towards KIMS Hospital, Minister Road, Ranigunj, Nallagutta, PVNR Marg and will be allowed to proceed under CTO flyover, take a U-turn and take a diversion from Hanuman Temple by-lane towards Food World, Sindhi Colony, Ramgopalpet PS, Minister Road, KIMS Hospital.

2. Traffic coming from Ranigunj, Nallagutta, PVNR Marg will not be allowed towards Rasoolpura and will have to take a right turn at Ramgopalpet PS, Sindhi Colony, Food World, Hanuman Temple, left turn towards Rasoolpura.

3. Traffic coming from the Secunderabad side towards KIMS Hospital should take a diversion from Hanuman Temple by-lane towards Food World, Sindhi Colony, Ramgopalpet PS, left turn Minister Road, KIMS Hospital or CTO, Paradise, Ranigunj right turn KIMS Hospital.

4. Ambulances or patients going to KIMS Hospital, Minister Road from Begumpet flyover have to take a U-turn at CTO/Meeting point and take by-lanes to reach Sindhi Colony, Ramgopalpet PS towards KIMS Hospital.

5. Heavy vehicles (buses, DCMs, lorries) are not allowed from Hanuman Temple towards Sindhi Colony, PG Road, Secunderabad on both sides and have to take the Ranigunj route to reach Minister Road.

All citizens and commuters have been requested to take alternate routes to reach their destinations, avoid the above routes, and co-operate with the traffic police.
