Hyderabad: Regarding the issue of the Balkapur Nala passing through the military area, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar directed officials to remove the check dam and lay a pipeline as it is flooding the entire Nadeem colony and other localities in Tolichowki.
On Wednesday, he met with senior municipal officials and Defense officials at BRKR Bhavan to discuss the issues.

Special Chief Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Arvind Kumar, Brigadier Soma Shankar Deputy, General Officer Commander (GOC), Telangana Andhra Sub Area Colonel Siddharath Narayan, Sanjay Jaju Addl Secretary Defence Production Government of India, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, EnC GHMC Ziauddin, Addl Commissioner Ravi Kiran, CCP Devender Reddy, CE Projects K Devanand and other officials attended the meeting.
