On Tuesday, the order was released by Chief Secretary to the Government, Santhi Kumari, on behalf of the Governor of Telangana.
Md. Musharraf Ali Faruqui, IAS officer from the 2014 batch, has been assigned the position of Director of Prohibition & Excise.
Ronald Rose, an IAS officer from the 2006 batch is appointed as the new Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
Ronald Rose will assume the role of GHMC Commissioner, taking over from Lokesh Kumar D.S., who has been transferred to the position of Additional Chief Electoral Officer in the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Telangana, Hyderabad.

Having previously served as the Secretary to the Government in the Finance Department, Ronald Rose brings an of experience to his new position. His appointment is expected to enhance the administration and governance of the GHMC, responsible for overseeing the civic affairs of Hyderabad.
Sarfaraz Ahmad, an IAS officer from the 2009 batch, who has been serving as Director of Prohibition & Excise is now appointed as the Joint Chief Electoral Officer in the Office of the CEO, Hyderabad.
