Road uplifting between Lulu Mall and Nexus Mall Flyover: Check traffic diversions in Hyderabad from Mar 14-18

Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has initiated road uplifting and carpeting work on the stretch between Lulu Mall and Nexus Mall Flyover. The project, covering a length of 110 meters and a width of 7.5 meters, aims to elevate the road level to match the mall entry. The work will be conducted under GHMC supervision in the jurisdiction of the KPHB Traffic Police Station.

To facilitate construction, traffic restrictions will be in place for five days, from March 14 to March 18, between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

Traffic Diversion Plan

The Cyberabad Traffic Police has issued an advisory regarding alternate routes:

• JNTU X Road to Nexus Mall – Traffic coming from JNTU X Road towards Chaitanya Food Court and Nexus Mall rotary will be diverted at Lotus Hospital. Commuters will need to take a left turn, go straight, take a right at Nallapochamma Temple Road, then another right, go straight, and take a left to reach the Nexus Mall main road.

Police Urge Public Cooperation

The Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, urged commuters to plan their travel accordingly. “To ensure smooth vehicular movement, we request the public to follow the designated diversion routes and cooperate with traffic police during the five days,” the official stated.

Congestion is expected on affected routes, and motorists are advised to use alternate roads and allow extra time for travel.
