This sparked concerns about the effectiveness of the FSSAI certification process as well as its monitoring quality. Another X user stated, āAuthorities must carry out a thorough investigation to stop similar incidents from happening again and to regain public confidence in the food safety system.ā
Responding to the tweets, a GHMC food inspector assured investigation into the matter. They mentioned that stock worth Rs 36,000 was seized on the spot.
An adjudication case has been filed in Ranga Reddy Collectorate and the case was heard on October 26, following which the fine was imposed.
