Sanath Nagar D Mart booked for violating COVID SOPs

Hyderabad: Police have registered a case against Sanath Nagar D Mart for violating Covid 19 SOPs.

Police said the case has been registered under section 188 of the IPC, Disaster Management Act, and the Epidemic Diseases act.

According to police, the customers at the store were not following social distancing. "Many of them were not wearing masks and even on the shopping floor, people were crowded, which is a violation of the COVID guidelines," police said.

Police said even at the billing counters, people were cramped up and the store was not following the sanitation procedures.

Police later registered a case against the store management and launched the investigation.
