Mohammad Zamaluddin, a 40-year-old self-employed resident of Lower Tank Bund, filed a complaint with the market police against the eatery.
According to the Market police, the incident occurred on a Friday morning when Zamaluddin along with his friends Mehamood, Praveen, Khaleel, and Osman Khan, decided to have breakfast at Alfa Hotel. Their order consisted of Mutton Kheema Roti.
However, what was supposed to be a pleasant morning outing took an unfortunate turn. While enjoying their meal, Zamaluddin's friend Mehamood suddenly fell ill and started vomiting. Concerned for his friend's well-being, Zamaluddin requested to speak with the restaurant manager.
After waiting for approximately half an hour, a person named Bhujang Shivaji approached their table, claiming to be the manager of Alfa Hotel. However, it later came to light that he did not hold this position within the establishment.
Adding to the unsettling incident, Zamaluddin and his friends noticed an unpleasant odor emanating from their Mutton Kheema Roti. Disturbed by the situation, Zamaluddin lodged a complaint against the management of Alfa Hotel, urging authorities to take appropriate legal action as per the law.
Subsequently, the Market police registered a case against Alpha Hotel management under Sections 273 and 336 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The case is currently under investigation.
