Secunderabad RPF recovered stolen luggage worth Rs. 58L in 2022
In 2022, RPF Secunderabad, on 447 occasions, retrieved and restored luggage/valuables to the rightful owners. They included laptops, cash, luggage bag, and mobile phones worth Rs. 1.35 crores.

Operation Yatri Suraksha
RPF Secunderabad has apprehended 57 criminals (in 80 cases) involved in passenger luggage thefts. They were handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP). Also, stolen passenger luggage worth Rs. 58 lakhs were recovered from them.
Operation Nanahe Fariste and Aaht
RPF was also instrumental in rescuing 303 children (225 boys and 78 girls), saving them from being victims of human trafficking. As part of women and child safety, 13 anti-human trafficking teams at RPF thanas have been formed. In 2022, seven children were rescued and two offenders arrested. Also, 76 cases against persons travelling in coaches reserved for ladies have been booked.
Operation Amanat

Operation Narcos
On average, 20 trains were escorted by 30 officers and staff in SC division.
During the year, contraband items like ganja weighing 521 kg were seized and handed over to the authorities.
Operation Dusra
RPF is empowered with prosecution powers against illegal touts booking and generating business on railway tickets. It registered 102 cases in 2022 (up to August) compared to 95 cases in 2021 with an increase of 7.36% in detection over the previous year.
