Secunderabad's Club Tequila raided, 18 people arrested
The task force noticed that around eight women were indulging in obscene acts and luring male customers. They were also trying to engage the men in indecent acts.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 29 May 2022 11:40 AM GMTHyderabad: On the intervening night of 28 and 29 May, the commissioner's task force, Central zone team, Hyderabad, raided Club Tequila Cafe and Bar located at Ramgopalpet in Secunderabad. The pub was found to be operating illegally without obtaining any valid permission from the authorities concerned. It had also engaged girls to lure customers besides violating the Excise rules.
Eighteen people were arrested, including the pub's managing director Nalini Reddy, club accountant and manager N. Ravi, DJ operators B. Hari Krishna and Syeda Zareen, cashier B. Prakash, eight girls, and five customers. The owner of the pub, Gyarala Vijay Kumar Goud, a resident of Bowenpally Hyderabad, is absconding.

It was also found that music was being played beyond the permissible decibels and disco lights were being used in violation of the rules. The club management had also converted the pub into a dance bar. This is the third case registered against the pub management.
Equipment like amps and sound systems were seized from the pub. The 18 arrested persons along with the seized material were handed over to the SHO of Ramgopalpet police station.
