SM influencer Syed Abdahu Kashaf booked for making derogatory comments

The police said he tried to promote enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion.
Syed was reportedly arrested on Thursday. He was granted bail later on the same day
Syed Abdahu Kashaf has also been accused of trying to mobilise people and provoke a breach of peace.
Kashaf was arrested by the cyber crime police and produced before a court with a request to remand him to judicial custody as he may repeat the offence and tamper evidence. However, he was released on personal bond.
Further, a case was also registered against Rashid Khan for making an offensive statement and promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion.
The city police warned of stern action against those who make offensive and objectionable statements to create hatred and enmity between groups. "We are identifying others who have posted such inflammatory videos and will be acting sternly against them," they said.
