Social entrepreneurship summit Impulse 2022 to be held on 8 April in Keesara

Hyderabad: Impulse 2022, a one-of-its-kind social entrepreneurship summit, will be held at BVIC's Incubation and Training facility in Keesara on 8 April. It will celebrate the spirit of social entrepreneurship and over 600 people, including social entrepreneurs, impact investors, and ecosystem enablers, are set to participate in the summit.
Bala Vikasa International Center (BVIC) has partnered with Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) to organise Impulse 2022.
Jayesh Ranjan, the principal secretary (IT), launched the poster for Impulse 2022 in the presence of Dr. Shanta Thoutam, chief innovation officer of Telangana, Rahul Bhardwaj, senior director of BVIC, and Ramana Gupta, a board member at Bala Vikasa.
Leading names like Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS, Mumbai), I-Venture@ISB, T-Hub, WeHub, and Kakatiya Sandbox have partnered to enhance the scale and impact of the event.
The one-day event will host over 50 leading institutions and individuals driving social innovations and impact investments across the country and over 100 social entrepreneurs will exhibit their solutions. Others events at the summit include panel and knowledge sessions, pitching sessions, and interactive workshops to engage diverse SE stakeholders on a gamut of thematic areas ranging from meaning and scope, leadership and management, finance, policy, marketing, collaboration, and convergence.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, said, "I am very happy that a programme on social entrepreneurship this time is taking place with a holistic view on the sector. The contours of the event will go beyond the start-up's exhibition, to bring in social investors and organisations together to dialogue and retrospect on where we started, how we transitioned till date, and the way forward for the ecosystem."
Shourie Reddy Singareddy, the executive director of Bala Vikasa, said Impulse 2022 will bring together the whole SE ecosystem in one place. "We believe that this event will initiate many interesting conversations around business and social impact, facilitate mutually-beneficial, cross-cutting collaborations and partnerships between participants, and ultimately aid the socio-economic development of many communities, which is the mission of Bala Vikasa," he said.
