Sudden heart attack: Mulugu BRS President Kusuma Jagadish dies

KCR expressed his condolences on the passing of the BRS leader and prayed to God to give strength to his family

Hyderabad: Mulugu District BRS Party President and Mulugu District Zilla Parishad Chairman, Kusuma Jagadish, passed away at his residence on Sunday morning due to a sudden heart attack. He was taken to Ajara Hospital in Hanmakonda when symptoms worsened, but despite receiving medical treatment, he did not survive.

Jagadish, 50, is survived by his wife, son, and daughter. He was originally from Mallampally village of Mulugu district and was living in Sneha Nagar, Hanamkonda, for many years now. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed deep shock over the untimely demise of Kusuma Jagadish. KCR expressed his condolences on the passing of the BRS leader and prayed to God to give strength to his family.

KCR further added, “Jagadish played an active role during the Telangana movement as a dedicated Telangana activist. His contribution to the development and progress of Mulugu District as the Chairman of the Zilla Parishad and as the party President is commendable. His demise leaves a void that will be difficult to fill.”

Expressing solidarity, KCR assured, “The party stands with the bereaved family during this challenging period. We will extend our full support to them and provide all necessary assistance. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. May they find strength and courage to overcome this loss.”

BRS Party Working President KT Rama Rao also expressed condolences for the sudden demise of Kusuma Jagadish. He said, “I am deeply saddened by Jagdish’s untimely death. May his soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family.”

Minister KTR recalled Jagdish’s dedicated service to the party since the Telangana movement, “He has been a committed leader, serving the party alongside Chief Minister KCR for over two decades.”

Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao expressed the pain he felt due to the loss of a close associate. He acknowledged Jagadish’s active participation in the Telangana movement and conveyed his deepest condolences to the grieving family.

Former health minister and BJP MLA Etela Rajender also expressed his deep shock and sorrow upon learning of the demise of Mulugu Zilla Parishad Chairman Kusuma Jagadish. He said, “Jagdish’s role in the movement is unforgettable. I offer my deepest condolences to his family members.”
