Swiggy delivery boy who jumped off an apartment to escape dog attack dies
Rizwan and his brother were the bread-earners of the family.

Hyderabad: The 23-year-old Swiggy food delivery executive who was injured when he jumped off the third floor after a pet dog started barking at him at a Banjara Hills apartment passed away on Sunday.
On 12 January, Rizwan received an order to deliver food to the third floor of the Lumbini Rock Castle apartment on Road No. 6, Banjara Hills. After reaching the location, he knocked at the door and a German shepherd came barking and attacked him. Rizwan jumped from the third floor of the apartment to escape.
Seeing this, the flat owner, Shobana, called an ambulance. Rizwan was shifted to NIMS Hospital where he took his last breath on Sunday while undergoing treatment.
The victim’s brother, Mohammad Khaja, lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police on Thursday night. He alleged that due to the negligence of the flat owner, his brother was seriously injured. The case is being investigated. Rizwan and his brother were the bread-earners of the family. As their father is old and they have three elder brothers who are mentally challenged, the two brothers were working hard for the family.
