Taramati Baradari party bust: DJ Jason Dylan tests positive for drugs, police probe network at event
Hyderabad: Sensational details have emerged in the drug case linked to a high-profile party held at Taramati Baradari in Hyderabad.
Police confirmed that international DJ Jason Dylan, one of the key organisers, tested positive for narcotic substance consumption, intensifying the ongoing investigation into a suspected drug supply network connected to the event.
‘Say No to Drugs’ slogan ignored by party organiser
According to officials, forensic tests revealed the presence of amphetamine in DJ Jason Dylan’s system. Investigators also found that he has a prior history of involvement in drug-related cases.
Despite promotional material for the party carrying the slogan ‘Say No to Drugs,’ the organiser himself allegedly consumed narcotics—an aspect now drawing sharp scrutiny.
Jason, who is currently based in Mumbai, was reportedly under the influence when examined, leading to his detection during police checks.
Party organisation and entry details
The event, hosted at Taramati Baradari, was organised by DJs Jack and Jason and attended by multiple groups.
Police identified that attendees arrived in batches of four to ten members, with entry packages priced between Rs 50,000 and Rs 1.25 lakh per group, indicating the exclusive nature of the gathering.
Event could be central to drug distribution
Following Jason’s arrest, police have ramped up efforts to trace the drug supply chain linked to the party. Special teams from the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) and anti-narcotics wings are analysing his contact list and communication records to identify suppliers and other possible collaborators.
Authorities believe the event may have served as a distribution point for narcotics, prompting a wider probe into similar parties in the city.
Actor among those identified
Investigators are also examining the role of several individuals connected to the case, including:
An actor identified as ‘Server’
A business couple, Nihar and Aashi, are reportedly involved in trading
Their contacts and possible involvement in facilitating the event or drug access are currently under scrutiny.
Light on drug use at Hyderabad elite parties
Police have registered a case and stated that further arrests are likely as the investigation progresses. Officials emphasised that the case is being treated seriously, given the growing concern over drug use at elite parties in Hyderabad.
The incident has once again raised questions about drug circulation in high-end social gatherings, with authorities signalling stricter surveillance and enforcement in the coming days.
