Tarnaka junction reopens for 15 days; traffic from OU will have straight route to Lalapet
Tarnaka junction to be opened for 15 days and trial run will be conducted starting from April 18 to May 2

Hyderabad: Tarnaka junction to open for 15 days from April 18 to May 2
Hyderabad: The Tarnaka junction, which was previously closed, will be reopened for vehicular movement from Osmania University towards Lalapet side and vice versa on a trial basis. The trial run will be conducted for 15 days, starting from April 18 to May 2, said the joint commissioner of police (Traffic), Hyderabad, in a public notice.
The following will be the new traffic routes:
1. From Osmania University: The traffic coming from Osmania University will be allowed to proceed straight towards Lalapet and take a right turn towards Habsiguda.
2. From Lalapet: The traffic coming from Lalapet will be allowed to proceed straight towards Osmania University and take a right turn towards Mettuguda.
From Mettuguda: The traffic will not be allowed to take a right turn towards Osmania University. Instead, vehicles should proceed straight towards Huda Complex, Tarnaka and take a U-turn and then take a left turn at Tarnaka towards Osmania University.
2. From Habsiguda: The traffic will not be allowed to take a right turn towards Lalapet and should proceed straight towards IRISET and take a U-turn, and then take a left turn at Tarnaka junction towards Lalapet.
