Tarnaka: Residents rejoice as govt commissions Basthi Dawakhana, CC road, renovated park

These developments promise to enhance the quality of life for residents and improve healthcare access for the community.
Basthi Dawakhana enhances healthcare services:
Basthi Dawakhana is located opposite Vaishali Apartments in Nagarjunanagar under Secunderabad constituency. The clinic is set to provide a range of essential healthcare services including consultations, medicines, and lab diagnosis. What sets it apart is the provision of specialist consultations through telemedicine services, ensuring that residents have access to expert medical advice without leaving their neighborhood.
Deputy Speaker Padma Rao Goud emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare, stating, "The Basthi Dawakhana aims to make quality healthcare services readily available to the residents of Tarnaka. Health is a fundamental aspect of well-being, and this facility will cater to the medical needs of the community."
Infrastructure upgrades for easier commuting:
Much-needed CC road was also opened in the vicinity. The road, constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 22 lakh, is expected to significantly improve commuting for local residents. It will also provide a smoother pathway for the Sunday market, enhancing the overall convenience for both residents and vendors.
Renovated park for leisure and recreation:
A park in Nagarjunanagar Colony, renovated at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh, was also thrown open to the public. The park promises a green oasis for residents, offering a serene space for leisure, recreation, and community gatherings. The renovation ensures that the park is well-maintained and equipped with modern amenities, making it an ideal place for residents of all ages to enjoy.
Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilata Shobhan Reddy said: "Parks are essential for fostering a sense of community and providing a peaceful environment for relaxation. We hope this renovated park becomes a cherished spot for families and individuals to unwind."
