Techie, interior designer killed in car crash at Secunderabad

Hyderabad: A techie and an interior designer were killed when their Hyundai Verna car crashed into a hoarding mast pole at Karkhana in Secunderabad on Sunday.

Identified as G Saikiran Reddy and G Sahil, they were returning home along with their friends Saicharan Reddy and Preetham Roy after a party when the incident happened.

According to police, the four persons are residing in different parts of the city. On Saturday night, they went for a drive up to Jubilee Hills. On their way home, Saikiran Reddy, who was behind the wheel, lost control near the Brand Factory store, and crashed into the mast of hoarding on the roadside.

Such was the impact of the crash that the front portion of the car was badly damaged and the two persons died on the spot. Saicharan and Preetham, who were seated on the rear seat, received severe injuries. They were rushed to a nearby private hospital, the police said. The vehicle is registered in the name of Gottam Upender Reddy, as per the police records.
