Teen injured at Hi-tech metro station while riding escalator

Hyderabad: A teenager was injured at the Hi-tech city metro station on Thursday. The girl was using the escalator when she got hurt and lost a lot of blood.
Journalist Vamsi srinivas shared about the incident on Facebook and wrote, "Metro staff just ignored arranging first aid despite repeated pleas. After so much blood loss, they brought a first aid box. She fell unconscious. Shame."
When NewsMeter reached out to the HMRL officials, they said, "We have taken notice of the incident and alerted the station staff. We are trying to know what exactly happened."
L&T has reacted to the incident, and said they'll take the appropriate action.
