Average cumulative rainfall in Telangana and GHMC deviated from the normal by 37% and 26% respectively

Telangana, GHMC area received relatively more rainfall in last 5 days

Hyderabad: Telangana received an average cumulative rain of 1,017.7mm against the normal 744.8mm with a deviation of 37% from 1 June to 5 October. The GHMC area also witnessed more rainfall during the period reporting an average cumulative rainfall of 756.88mm showing a deviation of 26% against the normal 600.2mm.

On Tuesday, the highest rainfall recorded was 38.8 mm at Kannaigudem in Mulugu district.

According to TSDPS daily weather report, light to moderate rain with thunderstorms are expected at a few places in the state for the next three days from 5 to 8 October. The maximum temperature in the state is expected to range between 32 to 35°Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to vary between 21 to 24°Celsius.

In the GHMC area, light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms is expected at isolated places for the next three days. The maximum temperature in the area is expected to range between 31 to 33°Celsius and the minimum temperature between 21 to 23°Celsius.
