In a letter written on Tuesday, the Congress spokesperson has filed a written complaint to the Banjara Hills police saying that Vijayasai Reddy's statements in the Parliament suggesting that the current government of Telangana is on the verge of collapse have raised concerns among the public and the party cadre, as they imply a potential threat to the stability of the recently formed government in Telangana.
What did Vijayasai Reddy say?
On Monday, Vijayasai Reddy in Rajya Sabha said that Congress has done great injustice to Andhra Pradesh and the state was divided unfairly. āDespite the formation of Telangana State, they did not get power for 10 years. The Congress government, which came to power after ten years, is sure to fall soon,ā stated the MP.
The MP alleged that the people of Andhra Pradesh have learned never to trust Congress. āI can say that the Congress party is spineless. The number of votes the Congress party got in the Andhra Pradesh 2019 elections proves how much the people trust them,ā the MP said.
The MP called the Congress party as āDhoke Baaj party.ā

The Congress, in their complaint, said that the BJP, BRS, and YSRCP established a syndicate and are attempting to topple the Telangana Congress administration. The Jubilee Hills Police were asked to thoroughly investigate the statements made by Vijayasai Reddy.

He said that former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, after he came to power, surrendered himself to YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for commissions and made Telangana a deserted area through Pothireddypadu, Muchumarri and RLIP.
He questioned why KCR didnāt question Jagan when the police were deployed at Nagarjuna Sagar on the polling day and why no question was raised regarding projects being handed over to the KRMB. He challenged YS Jagan to step in and occupy the Nagarjuna Sagar dam and said that the government is ready to conduct discussions on projects.
