Hyderabad: On Thursday, The Telangana High Court Full Bench felicitated Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, who has been elevated as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan lamented that litigants come to the court as a last resort. He said the judiciary has to keep its honour by delivering fair and expeditious orders. āCourtesy begins with the judge, and civility is a must in the court. There is no place for arrogance in the justice delivery system,ā said Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan. āNobody is permanent in life and professionalism. Moreover, with the blessings of Lord Balaji I have been elevated as a Supreme Court judge,ā he added.
CJ Ujjal Bhuyan thanked one and all for the wonderful assistance given to the High Court for the fair and expeditious delivery of justice.
He humoured his colleagues by saying that whenever he visits Hyderabad and the Telangana High Court, the Bar Association members should give him a cup of his favourite Irani chai.
All judges of the High Court, advocate general BS Prasad, registrar general Srujana, GPs, AGPs, standing counsels, and advocates were present at the felicitation.
