Telangana Intermediate Results: Girls outperform boys with 62% overall pass rate
Girls outshone boys with a 68.68 pass percentage, while boys recorded a 54.66 pass percentage

Around 4,82,675 students appeared in the exam. Over 61.68% of students in Telangana qualified for the exam. Girls outshone boys with a 68.68 pass percentage, while boys recorded a 54.66 pass percentage.
Likewise, 2,95,550 candidates passed the second-year intermediate. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 63. 49%. 71.57% of girls passed the exam. The pass percentage of boys was 56.60%.
On Tuesday, Telangana education minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy announced the results. A total of 9,48,153 students appeared in Intermediate first and second-year examinations at 1,473 examination centers in Telangana.
Recounting/ Reverification
For first and second-year candidates, there is a provision for recounting and re-verification of valued answer scripts. Candidates who wish to apply for have to pay online an amount of Rs.100 per paper for recounting and Rs 600 per paper for scanned copy-cum-reverification of the answer book through the BIE website httpi://tshie.cg.gov.lin.
The fee for recounting/scanned copy-cum-reverification can be paid from May 10 to 16.
This online service will be stopped after the due date, and no further extension of services will be available.
Also, the fee paid onward recounting/scanned copy-cum-reverification will not be refunded.
Candidates have to select the subject/subjects he/she wants to apply and have to furnish his / her complete address, email ID, and mobile number.
Advanced Supplementary exams
The Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations will be held from June 4 in two sessions. Students can pay the examination fee from May 10-16 at their respective colleges.
Tele-Manas
Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking across the State (Tele MANAS) sessions were held throughout the year, especially during the supplementary examination and after the announcement of results.
"The services of Psychologists and Psychiatrists for counseling & guidance are available round the clock to help the students to overcome any stress, strain, anxiety, nervousness, and students are advised to contact the Toll-Free number 14416", said the Minister.
