Congress accounted for seven, BJP four and MIM in one

Telangana: Landslide and easy wins in 12 Lok Sabha segments

Hyderabad: Landslide and easy victories were registered in 12 Lok Sabha segments in the 2024 General Elections in Telangana. While Congress accounted for seven of them, BJP raced to big and clear wins in four constituencies and MIM posted a massive victory in the Hyderabad seat.

Largest victory margin goes to Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy

The largest victory margin in the entire Telangana was registered by Congressā€™ Kunduru Raghuveer Reddy in Nalgonda constituency.




Raghuveer, who is the son of Congress veteran and former minister K Jana Reddy, won by a margin of over 5.59 lakh votes.

Raghuveer is contesting for the first time and secured over 7,84,337 votes while BJP candidate S Saidi Reddy polled 2.24 lakh votes. Raghuveerā€™s brother K Jaiveer Reddy won as an MLA from Nagarjunasagar in the Telangana Assembly elections held six months ago.

Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy

The next big victory margin went into the account of industrialist-turned-politician Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy of Congress, who won with a huge margin of 4,67,847 votes.




Raghuram Reddy, whose candidature was confirmed a day before the filing of nominations closed, established a clear lead from the first round itself. Anticipating defeat, BRS candidate and sitting MP Nama Nageshwar Rao left the counting centre very early.

P Balram Naik

Former minister and Congress candidate P Balram Naik won by a margin of 3.49 lakh votes from Mahabubabad over sitting MP Maloth Kavitha from BRS.

Balram Naik polled 6.12 lakh votes while Kavitha stood in second place with 2.63 lakh votes. Former MP and Professor Seetaram Naik, who switched to the BJP and contested from this seat, stood a distant third with 1,10 lakh votes.

Winners with a margin of more than 2 lakh votes

Kadiyam Kavya (Warangal), daughter of former minister and Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari, who joined Congress leaving BRS and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy (Bhongir) won by a margin of over 2 lakh votes.

While Kavya won by 2.20 lakh votes over her nearest rival Aroori Ramesh (BJP), Chamala Kiran prevailed over his nearest rival Boora Narsaiah Goud (BJP) by 2.22 lakh votes.

Gaddam Vamshi Krishna, son of Chennur MLA G Vivek, won by a margin of 1.31 lakh votes.

Eatala posts highest majority for BJP with 9.91 lakh votes

Coming to BJP, former minister Eatala Rajender won by a huge margin of over 3,91,655 votes over his nearest opponent Sunitha Mahender Reddy (Congress) from the Malkajgiri segment.




Eatala stormed into the lead since counting began in the morning and continued the tempo till the end. He polled 9.91 lakh votes overall. Sunitha Mahender Reddy got 5.99 lakh votes while Ragidi Laxma Reddy (BRS) secured 3 lakh votes.

Bandi Sanjay won by a margin of 2.25 lakh votes from Karimnagar. He secured 5.85 lakh votes with his nearest rival V Rajender Rao (Congress) polling 3.59 lakh votes.

Konda Vishweshwar Reddy (BJP) defeated sitting MP and Congress candidate G Ranjith Reddy by a margin of 1.72 lakh votes. Konda got 8.09 lakh votes while Ranjith Reddy secured 6.36 lakh votes.

Dharmapuri Aravind got the better of MLC and former minister T Jeevan Reddy (Congress) with a margin of 1.09 lakh votes.

Asad posts a massive win

Hyderabad Lok Sabha contestant Asaduddin Owaisi registered a huge win over BJPā€™s Madhavi Latha and the victory margin stood at 3.38 lakh votes. Asad won 6.61 lakh votes while Madhavi Latha garnered 3.23 lakh votes.




Two candidates won with over 90k margin

Two candidates ā€“ Mallu Ravi (Congress) from Nagarkurnool and Godam Nagesh (BJP) from Adilabad ā€“ tasted victories with a margin of 94,414 votes and 90,652 votes respectively.
