Brutal assault with plastic cricket bat
Instead of helping the injured, the occupants of the car allegedly got down and attacked the duo.
Police said the accused were identified as MA Zaki (30), Mohd Abdul Safi (18) and a 17-year-old, who used their hands and even a plastic cricket bat to thrash Abid and Yousuf.

Police swing into action
Based on a complaint lodged by the victims, Bandlaguda police registered a case. Investigators relied on CCTV footage and video clips to trace the attackers. The three were subsequently apprehended.
Background of the incident
Police said the clash appeared to have stemmed from anger over the collision, with the car occupants blaming the bikers for the mishap. Instead of resolving the matter amicably, the confrontation escalated into violence, leaving the victims injured.
ACP Chandrayangutta A. Sudhakar confirmed the arrests and said further investigation is in progress to determine if any other individuals were involved in the assault.
