Three Indian bike riders to be part of Indian Supercross Racing League on Dec 6 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Three Indian bike riders, Rugved Barguje, Prajwal Vishwanath, Ikshan Shanbhag will be a part of the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), scheduled for December 6 in Hyderabad. Bollywood actor Salman Khan is expected to attend the event as a special guest.

This is the second round of ISRL in Hyderabad to be held at GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli.

Fifty bike groups in Hyderabad, including women bikers, have been called to witness the motorbike sports performed by world-class bikers.

Bike companies in Hyderabad and their groups which go biking on weekends will be a part of the audience.

Passes for the event

Bike associations and sporting bike enthusiasts from different groups are being issued passes and group invites. Those who are part of clubs run by bike companies are invited too.

1) Races in different CC engine categories

2) Bike jumps

3) Rhythm jumps

4) Triple jumps

5) Whoop sections

6) Freestyle Motocross and many others

Hyderabad to host the second round

Hyderabad co-owner of Big Rock Motorsports, Nedurumalli Gautam, who is a sports entrepreneur, is a part of the event. Big Rock Motorsports were the Season 1 champions.

Other ventures of Nedurumalli Gautam are the Pro-Kabaddi League (Telugu Titans) Pro-Panja League (Kiraak Hyderabad).

Bike racing

ISRL Co-Founder Eeshan Lokhande emphasised that the Hyderabad venue, backed by the support of the Government of Telangana and SATS, is a testament to the region’s deep passion for motorsports.

‘No public money involved’

Earlier, officials clarified that the high-octane motorcycle racing event is being organised without government funding, unlike the Formula E race. No public money is being provided to private organisers for hosting the competition.

The event is expected to offer new avenues in sports, culture and the local economy while drawing thousands of spectators, international teams and motorsport enthusiasts.
