Tickets for Hyd round of Formula E racing available in BookMyShow; prices start from Rs.1,000
A total of 11 teams and 22 drivers are going to participate in the 4th round of the event scheduled to be held from 10:30 am to 4 pm on 11 February.

In the ticket launch event on Wednesday, Arvind Kumar, Special Chief Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) bought a ticket for himself and inaugurated the event.
There are 22,500 tickets on sale and the starting price is Rs.1,000. Based on the vantage points and seating proximity to the street circuit or the track, there are four types of tickets available- Rs.1,000 for Grandstands, Rs.3,500 for Charged Grandstands, Rs.6,000 for Premium Grandstands, and Rs..10,000 for Ace Grandstands.The tickets are available on BookMyShow and the website of AceNxtGen, the official promoter of the event in partnership with Formula E and Telangana government. The expected maximum seating capacity is 25,00. According to sources, there would also be a meal served for the ticket holders on the day of the racing event.

On 10 February, there would be trial runs happening on the track, informed the officials organizing the event. It is the ninth season of the Formula E racing event and it is the first time it is happening in India.
The Formula E event will use electric cars and this season, it is the Gen3 cars with a speed of 320 kmph that are going to be on the track. The 2.8 km long street circuit with 18 turns stretches along the Hussain Sagar lake. At around 10 important places in the city, the organizers are planning to install big screens for the public to watch the event.
Arvind Kumar said that the event would be a major boost to Hyderabad and it would place the city on the global electric mobility map. "Hyderabad has tremendous real estate growth, there has been several infrastructural developments in the city, Hyderabad is the only city in the country to have a decentralized sewage plant, the city recently won the Green City Award. Minister KTR always used to say Hyderabad should aim to be among the top 25 cities in the world. That's when we thought Formula E should come to Hyderabad," said Arvind Kumar. He also added that two days prior to the actual event, they would arrange free entry to school children.
Dilbagh Gill, CEO of AceNxtGen said that the recently concluded Indian Racing League has been a great learning experience for them. He said that they would ensure that the track is laid considering world standards and the safety aspects would be taken care of. He also added that from this year on, Formula E is going to be an annual event in Hyderabad.
E- Mobility Eve
Prior to the racing event, the officials announced that there would be an E-Mobility Eve celebrations in Hyderabad from February 6-11 wherein various events related to e-mobility, sustainable future etc. would be conducted for the public.
