Traffic advisory for I-Day celebrations at Golconda Fort, Parade Grounds
The city police have issued a traffic advisory in view of Independence Day celebrations at the Golconda Fort on 15 August.

The road from Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort will be closed for vehicular traffic from 7 am to 12 noon. The entry from Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort will be used for the A, B and C car pass holders who are invited to attend the celebrations including flag hoisting ceremony from 7.30 am to 11 am.
All the invitees coming on vehicles with A, B and C car passes from Secunderabad, Banjara Hills, Masab Tank, and Mehdipatnam are requested to come through Rethibowli and Nanal Nagar junctions and take left towards Balika Bhavan, Langar Houz flyover, Tippu Khan bridge, and take right turn at Makai Darwaza and Golconda Fort Gate for alighting.
After alighting, the A car pass holders should park their vehicles on the main road in front of the fort's main gate i.e. towards Fateh Darwaza Road. The B car pass holders should park their vehicles at the Golconda bus stop which is 50 meters from the main gate. The C car pass holders should park their vehicles at the football/boys ground by taking right turn near Golconda bus stop.
All invitees coming on vehicles with D car passes are requested to come to Golconda Fort from Shaikpet Nala and Tolichowki, and Seven Tombs to alight at Priyadarshini school, Golconda and park their vehicles inside the Priyadarshini school.
The E car pass holders coming from Seven Tombs, Banjara Darwaza, inside the traffic signal, should take an immediate left to Owaisi Ground and the E car pass holders coming from Lagar Houz under the flyover via Fateh Darwaza should take right at Bada bazaar, towards GHMC Island and Owaisi Ground and park their vehicles at Owaisi/GHMC Playground which is 500 meters from the main gate of Golconda Fort.
The vehicles with F car passes i.e. general public are requested to come from under the Langer Houz flyover, take U-turn and left towards Fateh Darwaza and park their vehicles at the HUDA park near Fateh Darwaza. Persons coming from Shaikpet and Tolichowki can park their vehicles inside the Seven Tombs. They can board free RTC buses provided at both places to reach the place of function and return the same way.
Once the function is over, the vehicles with A, B and C car passes will exit through Makai Darwaza, Ramdevguda and Langar Houz. The vehicles with D car passes will exit through Banjara Darwaza and Seven Tombs. The vehicles with E car passes will exit through Bada Bazaar, Fateh Darwaza or Banjara Darwaza and Seven Tombs. The vehicles with F passes should exit from their respective parking places only.
Similarly, in light of the Independence Day activities planned at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds traffic will be diverted at Tivoli Junction towards Brooke Bond and N.C.C Junction and the traffic coming from Tivoli towards plaza will be restricted from 8.00 am to 10.00 am.
