Traffic Advisory: President Murmu on two-day visit to Hyderabad from Thursday
Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu will be on a two-day visit to Telangana beginning Thursday, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
Murmu will grace the 'Koti Deepotsavam-2024' in Hyderabad on November 21, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a statement issued on Wednesday."On November 22, the President will deliver the inaugural address at the Lokmanthan-2024 at Hyderabad," it said.
The Hyderabad City police issued an advisory in view of Droupadi Murmu visit to the city on Thursday and Friday. In view of the Presidentās visit and movement in the city, there might be traffic congestion in certain areas in Hyderabad city.
On November 21 between 5.30 p.m and 09.00 p.m, the traffic will be either stopped for a while or diverted at the following junctions due to VVIP/VIP movements viz., Panjagutta Junction ā Green Lands Jn. ā Begumpet Flyover ā HPS Out Gate ā Shyam Lal Building - PPNT Fly over ā Airport Y Junction ā Monappa Junction ā Yashoda Hospital ā Katriya Hotel - Raj Bhavan Road ā Metro Residency ā VV Statue ā Khairatabad Flyover ā Necklace Rotary ā NTR Marg ā Telugu Talli In ā Telugu Talli FlyOver ā Katta Maisamma ā Iqbal Minar ā Old Ambedkar Statue Jn. - Tank Bund ā NTR Stadium ā Ashok Nagar Jn.
On November 22 between 9.30 a.m. and 12.15 p.m, the traffic will be either stopped for a while or diverted at the following junctions due to VVIP/VIP movements viz., Raj Bhavan right - Metro- VV Statue right - KCP Ansari Manzil -Tajkrishna -1/7 Road -1/4 Road -NFCL - SNT -Sagar society - NTR bhavan -Jubilee hills check post -Road no 45 junction -Cable Bridge - Road no 65-Jubilee check post - NTR bhavan -Sagar society -SNT -NFCL - Panjagutta flyover -Monappa -Praja bhavan - Greenlands - Begumpet flyover - HPS out gate - Shyamlal - PNT Left -Airport y junction - Begumpet airport.
āThe roads leading up to these intersections may be congested. The public is therefore warned not to use these intersections for their commute, ā said Additional Commissioner of Police (traffic), P Viswa Prasad.
