Traffic Alert: Diversions in Hyderabad for War 2 pre-release event on Aug 10

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced traffic diversions on Sunday, August 10, in view of the War 2 pre-release event scheduled from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Yousufguda Battalion Police Lines.

Officials expect moderate congestion around Kotla Vijaya Bhasker Reddy (KVBR) Stadium and have urged commuters to avoid the area to prevent delays.

Event expected to draw large crowds

Police said a large number of fans are likely to attend the pre-release function, leading to slow-moving traffic in the surrounding areas. Commuters have been advised to plan alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.

Diversion Details

From Jubilee Hills Check Post towards KVBR Stadium, traffic will be diverted at Krishna Nagar Junction towards Srinagar Colony and Panjagutta.

From Maitrivanam Junction towards Jubilee Hills Check Post/Madhapur, vehicles will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards RBI Quarters, Krishna Nagar Junction, and onwards to Jubilee Hills Check Post.

From Maitrivanam Junction towards Borabanda Bus Stop diversion at Savera Function Hall via Krishnakanth Park, GTS Temple, Kalyan Nagar, and Mothi Nagar before reaching Borabanda.

From Borabanda Bus Stop towards Maitrivanam Junction, vehicles will be diverted at Prime Garden in Kalyan Nagar via Midland Bakery, GTS Colony, Kalyan Nagar Junction, Umesh Chandra Statue U-turn, ICICI U-turn, and onwards to Maitrivanam.

Traffic police have requested motorists to cooperate and follow the signages and instructions of officers deployed at diversion points.
